Discovered Best Buy now offers installation, so I reluctantly gave them a call (their Geek Squad never did manage to fix my PC without several trips back and long lines waiting for service) ... Best Buy doesn't offer free installation and I have not experienced good service there, so I decided to check out Car Tunes. I went to Car Tunes on Woodward in Berkley to replace my original 14-yr old car stereo. Rick was patient, answered my questions and was candid about the features of each model. He directed me to a stereo that fulfilled what I wanted at the price range I could afford (and I had done my homework, so I knew the price was right!). I made an appointment for installation a few days later and I knew I had made the right choice... not necessarily because of the stereo, the comparable price to online stereos or even the free installation, but the way the Car Tunes staff works with their customers. I observed how professional, friendly and accommodating they were, even when they had several customers in at the same time and the phone was ringing off the hook. Great experience. Great service."
