Car Tunes Mobile Entertainment was voted the "Best Car Audio Store" for 2007 by readers of Real Detroit Weekly Magazine in the magazine's annual "Real Best of Detroit" competition.

The Real Best of Detroit competition, celebrating its' ninth year, seeks to find "the D's real best of the best in all things nightlife, food, culture, music, sports and entertainment." according to the magazine. Each year, the magazine asks its' readers to vote on what they think is great about Motown.

The “Real Best of Detroit” award came right on the heels of the “Retailer of the Year” award given by Mobile Entertainment Magazine naming Car Tunes Mobile Entertainment as the “Top Mobile Entertainment Retailer” in the nation. The “Top Mobile Entertainment Retailer” award was the result of voting by more than 2,500 industry insiders and mobile electronics experts throughout the United States.
